At New Design, we love to update a space and make it feel like it should have always been that way. In this kitchen, a large pantry wall maximized storage while the peninsula creates a great work space and seating area. The glazed antique white cabinets pop against the cherry colored floors. A natural stone backsplash with cracked glass mosaic behind the range gives just enough detail without distracting from the gorgeous granite countertops. The tones in the granite tie all of the colors together to complete the design.
Michael Kitchen
- We created a well balanced and neutral design that gives a timeless look.
- The natural tile backsplash is accented with glass tiles and pencils to give interest without being overwhelming.
- A built in nitch above the range for accent.
- We pulled some cabinets forward and played with the heights to add detail.
- In the island, we incorporated a spot for the microwave to keep the countertops clear.
- The cabinets were continued to create a built in bench to maximize the use of the space.
